Back in December AinslieWear Australia & New Zealand attended the long anticipated 74th Interflora Australian Dancesport Championships at the Margaret Court Arena on the 6 – 8th of December.
We were so excited to be showcasing the AinslieWear Ballroom and Latin wear to the Dancesport community at this event. And it definitely didn’t disappoint.
Over the 2 days, the sales, the feedback and the dancing on show all greatly exceeded our expectations. We look forward to exhibiting at this event each and every year.
Of the whole collection the Banderillas Pants were the top seller over 30 pairs were sold in 2 days across all sizes which includes a 3XL.
Chasse luxury crepe pants were also very popular right across the board of professionals and armature dancers.
This is most certainly in line with the trend we have seen with female dancers in practice pants and on the floor in some events.
Sweetheart top ( a cross over style with sleeves and available in black and fuchsia) proved the most popular top selling out all sizes all the way up to a 3XL. The ladies loved the material and the cut of this top with such a flattering line and coverage for ladies of all sizes and abilities.
And for the skirts there was a selection of ladies who were drawn to the
But most impressive throughout the duration was of course the dancing. The show dance featuring world 10 dance champions Ashli Willliamson and Bjorn Bitsch was phenomenal. World Professional Champions in both showdance and standard and multi world champions in in WDSF 10 dance. We could have watched it again and again.
First time in 15 years that the event had moved from Rod Laver arena to the Margaret Court Arena and it was indeed a much more intimate and enjoyable event.
